If you've been in a hole...

In case you've never heard of it download.com has a great selection of freeware! I trust this site because for many years I have downloaded many great free programs from it. At the top there is a search box - type in what you're looking for, then on the results page there will be a toolbar on the left called "Narrow Search" - click on the item labeled "Free" and this will filter out any program that is not exclusively free - so your search will contain only programs that are completely free! Try it, trust me, you won't be disappointed!

What are some of your favorite freewares?

I have to say my top favorite is called xplorer2. It is amazing! It's a program I use daily! It's so much better than Windows Explorer - in fact once you start using it you'll never go back to Windows Explorer. Check it out here:
